What is Humanity?

What is humanity?

Humanity is pain, regret, sadness, anger, depression, tears, eating disorders, pain, and the monsters that made the jump from under the bed straight into your head.

Humanity is the terrible, dark, pained existence. It shatters your soul than hands you hope on a silver platter before ripping it away and shattering you again.

Every time you shatter you become stronger, and the monsters of this world that once pushed you down better run, because you are out for blood.

As you become stronger and the strength of an army is built up inside that twisted mind. You see more and more that there are wonderful, good things about humanity also. There is love, kindness, and people who make you feel like all the pain and suffering in this world are worth it. They make you feel that if nothing else you can live for them, because in there broken, shattered hearts they have found room for you. Where you see nothing good in yourself they see your worth, and they love you.

When you feel the warmth and light of them in this sad, dark, terrible, excuse of a world you get hope. Hope that there will be something better tomorrow. Hope that there are more kind people in the world. Most of all you get hope that there is something better out there is a good in your future.

These people who hold there shattered hearts behind a door so they can be strong and piece you back together. These people who give you life. These people are what humanity is. Humanity is that small blip of light in the dark that make you get back up and break through the anguish and suffering. The push that keeps you walking. That is humanity.

Humanity is hope.
